Where shall my mother be that day
when God shall judge mankind
for I am cut off in the womb
aborted ‘fore my time

for God created me a spirit
to live forever more
and never to be forgotten
eternally secure

I don’t know why this thing was done
no plea have I to give
my only desire was for life
a life in which to live

who knows what greatness would have come
or mighty deeds were done
because a decision has been made
to end a life of one
____
but mercy is still found in God
He yearns to set one free
of this evil act of abortion
by healing memories of me
____
the glory of Christ’s resurrection
brings hope to those who sin
for He bore this sin of murder
and conquered it through Him
____
I am a life marked in a time
ordained to breathe and freely grow
and mercy has given me life
into His arms I’ll go
